Source of Inspiration

This week I popped into my sisters shop Interiors By Angela Barr www.abarrinteriors.co.uk to preview the Autumn collections of fabrics and wallpapers, this always gets me excited as I find this to be a great source of inspiration and gets my creative side going casting my eyes over all the textures,colours and designs that are in vogue for the season ahead.
Designer Guild's Amrapali collection in particular stood out to me as the stunning floral pattern with colours that reflect the changes of the forthcoming season. I will definitely be applying some of these colour mixes in my autumn designs.

Ferrerra (Ugly betty) Gets Married

We Just have to post pictures on our blog of the stunning Ferrerra on her wedding day, We love Ugly Betty and must say she looks anything but Ugly on her wedding day.
We love her dress Ferrerra wore a Amsale’s Christos wedding gown, J’Adore

The ivory strapless dropped waist gown has a lace bodice and tiered pleated tulle skirt.
It is made of French corded lace and tulle.
Ferrera wore her hair pulled back and a lace veil. Her jewelry was by Fred Leighton.

Theres lots of Celeb Weddings this year and we will be keeping an eye on what the rich and famous chose for there flowers as they are always a great source of inspiration.   Lx

Royal Wedding

Kate’s bouquet was white, scented and simple. It was a shield-shaped wired bouquet comprising myrtle (signifying love and taken from an original myrtle planted at Osborne in 1845, which still thrives within its sheltered terraced gardens today), lily-of-the-valley (humility, purity), sweet William (gallantry) and white hyacinth (loveliness).

The overall impression was of natural elegance, simplicity and seasonality – white and cream, scented and full of meaning.

We predict that pipas beautiful hair comb of lily of the valley is a trend setter for future brides and we are expecting to have requests for this design.

Colour Trends

We have had the pleasure of meeting with several lovely brides to be over the past couple of weeks and we are noticing a strong colour trend for bridesmaids 2011-2012 we have added some pictures of our favourite dresses, we are looking forward to creating stunning flower designsto complement these stunning colours.
